This chapter gets into the details of the Tabernacle. God is so direct and forthright in the exact details of how he wants this Tabernacle to be. He is testing the obedience of the people. I used to wonder at how the Hebrew people who at this time in history are nomadic and have just recently been in slavery, could come up with the gold, bronze, and material to make the Tabernacle. But then you read back to the time of the Exodus out of Egypt and you realize that the Egyptian people had given them much of these materials when they left Egypt. So gathering all of this information made me think, God never asks you to do something he hasn’t already prepared you for! I pray you will understand that very clear message.
