In this passage I find it very interesting that God tells the people that it is not their goodness that is earning them the land, but rather the incredible wickedness of the people in the land that deserve to be pushed out. The people were also told to not forget God when they are prosperous in the land. How about you? Have you gotten too prosperous to remember God? I am not necessarily talking about money but rather in your life have you been blessed so much that you somehow feel that you did it all yourself? Remember God in your prosperity because it may not always be there, but God will.
