II Chronicles 17-20
Have you ever tried to reform something? A business, an organization, or maybe your own family? Jehoshaphat was trying to reform an entire nation. I am sure there were those who did not want change. There were probably people who were wanting more change. It seems that the King did what the Lord wanted him to do. He made some mistakes like aligning with Ahab. What is remarkable is King Jehoshaphat sought God for his decisions. He felt the pressure of attacks from other nations and called the entire nation to prayer. I love II Chronicles 20: 13 that talks about how all the men stood before the Lord with their little ones, wives, and children. All the people joined in prayer. If you are facing a crisis in your own life, call everyone to prayer and see how God works in your situation.
