I think the idea that kept coming up in these 3 chapters is the idea that God will defend the oppressed. The writer of Proverbs goes on to indicate that if you are one who oppresses other people that you will face judgment by God back in your life. He also states that God knows what is in your heart. Therefore, we must be pure before God and confess our shortfalls and allow Him to defend us when we are weak.
